Congregation Beth Elohim is a Jewish congregation located in Acton, Mass., drawing its membership from the surrounding towns of Ayer, Bolton, Boxborough, Carlisle, Concord, Harvard, Groton, Littleton and Stow. It has more than 300 families as members and a range of religious, educational and social activities for children, teens, adults and seniors. The congregation continues fostering a Kehilah K'dosha, a synagogue community that offers spiritual development and the preservation and transmission of Jewish traditions, values and culture. It focuses on creating a community of learners and improving the Hebraic and Judaic literacy of adults, children and youth. It also arranges for a friendship club for members who are 50 and above, mixed marriage discussion group, social action committee, group for mothers of preschooler and a choir. Congregation Beth Elohim is built on more than 20,000-square-foot and was founded in 1969.
