(My Review is in regards to the 2861 N Dekalb Drive Location)

**They're all connected AND owned by the SAME person, so don't think it won't happen to you...



My child (age 22 months) began receiving child care with Kids World #31 in November of 2007 under the direction of Ms. Mary Hamilton & we have experienced HORRIBLE service & care for our child since day one. On the first day I was appalled to find lumps of chicken patty meat lodged in his right cheek as he lay asleep at nap time. I immediately brought this to the attention of the Assistant Director, whose name I will not reveal- as to protect her privacy- and the Director (Mary Hamilton), & wrote a note outlining the type of care I was paying for and expected from the center.



That same week I witnessed the same negligent teacher grab a child up by the arm and yell at him "That's why yo mamma can't come in this class room now... cus you're so bad- now go sit in time-out" and with force she pushed this toddler into the time-out center. I was MORE than concerned by this time and once again (in the same week) reported this teacher's behavior to the Assistant Director and the Director. Very unpleased with her care, both my husband and I agreed that that classroom was not the place for our young child and requested that he be removed from that particular teacher���s care. All the while the assistant director, insisted that the teacher is typically kind to the children, and in the same breath admitted that they have had to pull her aside and speak with her in regards to the force and aggression she uses with the children. She went on to inform me that I wasn���t the first to complain and if it happened again she would have to take more drastic measures with that teacher. This is NOT my idea of proper care or care that I would put up with for my child. I decided that classroom was not suitable for our young child & moved him from that particular teacher���s care.



Mid Dec. we arrived to pick up my little one, the new teacher, (whose name I will not reveal as to protect her privacy) checked my child���s diaper (with a swift pull back of the flaps and visual check) & sent us on our way. Upon getting home & preparing him for his nightly bath as we began to pull his diaper back the diaper was clean, with NO signs of urine/ mess in it. When the diaper was almost off we viewed blood clinging from his private parts to the center of the diaper & he began to holler and scream as we ���pealed��� the remainder of the diaper off. Upon further review we also witnessed black feces that were packed in the crevices of his thigh & pelvis. His lower body (private area) was so swollen & red & had open abrasions all over it. The following morning my husband & I both spoke again to Mary Hamilton about the lack of care we had been receiving with the center & our obvious disappointments. She said sorry and mentioned that they might have used another child���s wipes on my child���s VERY sensitive skin.



We have finally moved on from Kid���s World #31, and unfortunately as a PENALTY of being GREAT on-time payers, with all of our tuition paid for including the week after we withdrew him, the center is now refusing to refund our money and are holding on to the funds. PLEASE STAY CLEAR��� and I wouldn���t recommend going to any of the Kid���s World Locations quite frankly- the ���owner��� of them all Ruth Coon won���t even respond to our concerns or disappointments with a mere phone call that we requested in regards to our horrible experience!!!
