Hello. I am a psychiatrist in Alexandria, Virginia specializing in individual psychotherapy, group psychotherapy and medication management. If you are already seeing a non-medical therapist, I am happy to collaborate with that person to provide more comprehensive care. My office is very conveniently located in the SOUTHERN TOWERS Apartments-----4921 Seminary Road----at the corner of Seminary Road and Shirley Highway Rte 395 in Alexandria.I offer evaluation and treatment of emotional difficulties depression, anxiety, panic disorder, obsessive-compulsive issues,attention-deficit disorder, bipolar disorder-----problems establishing and maintaining long-term relationships-----difficulties achieving a healthy balance among work, love. and play. In an atmosphere of trust and confidentiality, I help patients enhance self esteem, coping skills, self confidence and assist in removing the obstacles that interfere with reaching one's full potential. I offer individual and group psychotherapy and medication management and work in close collaboration if there is a non-medical therapist. Group therapy is especially valuable, offering a secure, supportive environment to understand behavioral problems interfering with richer, more rewarding relationships and using those insights for a healthier life. I am not affiliated with any insurance networks, but most patients have insurance coverage. My patients pay at the time of service, and my office files with any insurance company to allow patient reimbursement of what their policy permits.
