Midway Elementary School has been operational for more than 40 years and enrolls over 600 students in kindergarten through grade five. Its academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as reading, English, math, physical education, music, art, foreign languages, science and social studies. The school also offers accelerated reader, Title I, early intervention, gifted education, extended day, chorus and Youth Connections after-school programs. In addition, it offers guidance counseling to students. The school has a parent-teacher association that organizes a range of fundraising activities. Midway Elementary School is a part of Forsyth County Schools and is located in Alpharetta, Ga.
