Took my vehicle in 4 plug wires and coils.. they told me that I needed to have my alternator replaced which was news to me.. as my crew was 200 miles away the truck breaks down. Had to pay my guys for the remainder of the day get a rental car and have my truck towed to the nearest mechanic.. the mechanic fix the issue with the alternator that was just installed. I am here at Midas was the bad alternator they installed and they will not give me a refund saying they do not have the money. They cannot put it on my credit card nor can they write me a check he called his big boss and his big boss has nothing tell me either. Said I should have brought the vehicle back to them to have them repair it correctly. They already told me they were not paying tow charges that I have already incurred nor were they going were they going to pay an extra 200 miles of tow charges to get it there shop or the labor I anchored having to pay for the guys being stranded. They won't put money back on my credit card they won't write me a check and the manager is a total moron and does not know what to tell me at all.. they are not even giving me the money for the bad alternator that they installed.. I have sat here for one hour 30 minutes getting them all the information that they wanted from the mechanic that repaired my vehicle the second time and that still is not good enough. If you would like a mechanic to work on your vehicle and not forget any kind of warranty this is definitely the place to go to get screwed over. I am now out of pocket the original repair cost tow charges labor hours for three men and my time and effort bringing this alternator out of my way to them to get a refund and the manager still tells me he does not know what to tell me.. so ridiculous

I totally was blown away with the service I recieved at Midas today. They were prompt, up front, and very informative. I have had my car serviced at other places but I will now use Midas. Give them a try.
