Matthew Boyle, DO, a California native, was raised in a military family as the oldest of four boys and spent his childhood living in Italy, Korea, Hawaii and other U.S. states before settling in Salt Lake City, UT. While originally pursuing a degree in music, he switched to pre-med after spending time working with his osteopathic physician father in their family-run, private wound care clinic. He obtained his bachelor's in Biology from the University of Utah and attended medical school at Liberty University in Virginia where he served as IT representative for his class. His passion for medicine comes from the years of observing his father's care and dedication to his patients and a strong desire to better the lives of those around him. His wife, Danae, is thrilled to be in the Pacific Northwest. They have two young children, Oliver and Amelia. His hobbies include playing piano and jazz sax, basketball, rock climbing, mountain biking and enjoying a good, hoppy IPA.
