Appleton West High School promotes students participation in numerous athletic activities, such as cross country, football, diving, golf, soccer, tennis, volleyball, basketball, wrestling and track and field. The school organizes a range of extracurricular clubs to provide students with additional opportunities for personal growth, self-discipline, skill, cooperation and fun. These clubs include student council, talisman, history club, gay-straight alliance, environmental and ski clubs, math team and the National Honor Society. The high school has a guidance office that assists students in college and future career planning, and provides information about scholarship applications and college entrance requirements. Appleton West High School, located in Appleton, Wis., serves students in grades nine through 12.
