They have a good selection of boots, tents, packs, outerwear and camping gear. They sell even some items that even REI does not carry. The sales staff is smart and helpful.

The store is easy to overlook if you are driving by but for those who enjoy spending time in the great outdoors it is a real treasure! This family owned and operated store appears small but is actually quite large inside, on par with the local REI and EMS shops. The gear selection is first rate, whomever does their buying stocks the shelves with a good selection of high quality equipment at various price points. The pricing is near retail. I picked up an iso fuel canister and some storage containers that we're priced a buck or so lower than what I saw at Gander Mountain a week ago. The sales staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. "Casual Adventure" has become my first stop in the D.C. area when I need to pick up quality outdoor gear.
