Provided by SuperpagesRepairs not adequate - May 20, 2009I called them to oil my Hershede Grandfather Clock and at that time they said the cables needed replaced. We waited for over a month and heard nothing, finally we called and after waiting again, they came out. The wrong cables were installed, the weight was put on backwards, the face was not reinstalled right and therefore the chimes and the strike did not work. The cables were cut too short and the 8 day clock became a 5 day clock. We finally called another repair shop who corrected their mistake which cost (165.00) and we paid an additional $275.00 for the correction. I really cannot recommend Cherrydale Clock WorksA local favorite, or highly recommended because

Provided by SuperpagesAt first we were not going to do it because it seemed so expensive. They gave us a discount for having 2 clocks repaired. I clock I had to take back because it seemed to stop working; I was told that it there was nothing wrong with it. It's only been a couple of days since I got it back. We'll see. They were pleasant to work with. I don't know what it should cost to have clocks repaired? One was a German Cuckoo Clock and the other was an antique (circa late 1800s) mantle clock. The cost was $500 for both.
