Meramec Heights Elementary, located in Arnold, Mo., is one of the premier public schools in Jefferson County. Governed by the Fox Community School District 6, it teaches classes from kindergarten through grade six and enrolls more than 600 students. The school follows an intensive educational program for all students and focuses on various areas that include academic intervention, vocabulary instruction, writing instruction and attendance. Meramec Heights Elementary s curriculum includes speech and reading recovery, art and music, special education, basic math, social studies, language arts, and health and physical educaion, and computer studies. Its curriculum and textbooks are aligned to state standards and district guidelines. Meramec Heights Elementary provides teacher resources, lunch and transport services, school nurse, library, and outdoor and extracurricular programs.
