Diagnostic Imaging Services at the Ashtabula Regional Medical Center offers the most comprehensive service in the county. The department provides service 24 hours a day, performed by registered, State-of-Ohio-licensed technologists under the direction of board-certified radiologists from Cleveland Clinic. All procedures are performed per order of a physician. Upon completion of the exam, the report is interpreted and reported by the radiologist through a voice recognition system, which eliminates delays caused by transcription. Inpatients, outpatients and emergency patients of all age groups are served. Patient care and management is accomplished, in collaboration with medical staff, nursing and other healthcare disciplines, within and outside of the hospital.
