Established in 1937, The Guidance Center Atchison is a community-based, nonprofit agency that provides a range of outpatient and inpatient services for individuals and families. It serves as a local community mental health center that offers various medical care solutions for the residents of Atchison County in Kansas. The center provides emergency services 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The Guidance Center Atchison helps more than 3,500 patients with case management and psychological solutions. The center offers outpatient therapy and assists patients in emotional disturbance problems. It administers the TARGET (Teens Achieving, Reaching, Growing, Exploring and Transitioning) program and organizes several workshops. The Guidance Center Atchison is one of the locations of The Guidance Center.
