If you have seizures, hydrocephalus, central apnea... run don't walk to any place that will actually consult with your specialist.

Having a psych warrd remove seizure meds and sleep medications from a brain surgery patient, for as long as three months of seizures, and sleep depravation, and constant emergency room visits to be asked: what's the name of ths place?!"

Everyone says, they can't do that.

They certainly get away with it until someone dies , and you'd better know an out of state law firm who is not scared of these corporate insurance whores.

Have several witnesses who are ot easily scared, off.

I could tell of some felonies they have committed, but what we've divulged here should hopefully get your attention and make you ask around, talk to some attorneys or a judge near one of their centers, they ALL know about this corporation.

Without the Northeastern Center I would not be alive today. I have tried the outpatient offices in Kendallville and Lagrange. Both did a good job, but I needed something more, so I tried the Auburn clinic. They are AMAZING at what they do. They are VERY professional. The only thing they ask is that you learn to trust them so that they can help you learn to deal with your problems/issues. They care A LOT! They LISTEN to what you are saying and help you come up with safety plans, they help you with community outreach, and they help you with social needs.

In a time in my life where I was going through so much and in so much pain, these people were a lifeline and they reached out to me when I felt like I was drowning and pulled me back to safety. I cannot put into words how grateful I am to the Northeastern Center alltogether.

If you are looking for help, you should definatly go to NEC. I am a current patient even now, and I thank them with all my heart.

The Staff started by encouraging me to get close to them knowing full well that I had no love from family nor no friends growing up. The Staff broke their own policy but not being envolved with clients except on a professional level. That's very unprofessional to say the least. The Staff even admitted to it as well.



On 02-02-10 I was very depressed and feeling suicidal. I go to the NEC here in Auburn to get help. What do they do, they take my meds away and send me home knowing that I wasn't stable and suicidal. I even asked them to type up the paperwork to have me admitted for a few days but they ignored it. Two days later the entire Sheriff's Department shows up and takes me to the NEC's hospital which wasn't necessary then. That's not professional either.



While at the hospital the Staff didn't give me my meds the first night. It was a snow day when I was released and the Staff didn't give me any meds to take home. My meds where in the out-patient building which was closed for the day so I had to go without. The NEC also overcharged my insurance. That's malpractice and fraud.



Yesterday I get a call from the NEC saying I was banned from getting services. They also had the nerve to slap me with a restraining order. They won't even help me find services elsewhere that I really need.



Avoid the NEC like the Plague if possible,
