James Craven, MD, a native of New Orleans, received his medical degree from Louisiana State University Health Science Center in Shreveport, Louisiana. He went on to complete his residency in general surgery and a Fellowship in vascular surgery from the LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. He is certified by the American Board of Surgery in both general and vascular surgery. Dr. Craven has practiced for the last 13 years in Baton Rouge before joining Our Lady of the Lake Physician Group Vascular Surgery in 2019. Dr. Craven also serves as the President of the Our Lady of the Lake Physician Group where he oversees a 500-plus member group of medical providers.
