Dr. Jonathan Welden's life and medical career spanned the United States before he moved to the south to make Baton Rouge home with his wife and son.Performing his undergraduate studies through the University of Tennessee in Martin, Tennessee, he earned his M.D. and completed his Internal Medicine internship and residency through the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis in 2006. Dr. Jonathan G. Welden completed a fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism at George Washington University in Washington, DC in 2011 before entering into private practice in St. Louis, Missouri. In 2013, he joined the medical family of The Baton Rouge Clinic specializing in Endocrinology.Dr. Welden is board certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is licensed to practice medicine in the state of Louisiana.
