Dr. Tariq chose to become a doctor because of his love of problem solving and desire to help others. His motivation comes from knowing that his work helps his patients live a longer, healthier life. His greatest influence is his father, who emphasized the importance of education. His father motivated and believed in him from a young age.When not in the office, Dr. Tariq helps fundraise for poverty alleviation and children’s health and education in third world countries. He also enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends. I treat patients with dignity and respect. It’s my top priority to be sensitive to each patient’s unique cultural values and autonomy. I make sure to involve my patients in decision making, recognizing they are individuals with their own unique needs and preferences. We’re a team.
