Michael's Books in Bellingham is a gold mine of literature, overseen by a staff of helpful, good-natured people who make it a pleasure to buy or sell books there. I brought in quite a large number of books to sell, and they really gave my collection a thorough examination, selecting those titles they saw fit to purchase. They gave me a very fair price for the books they bought; but, beyond that, their cordiality and kindness made it a special experience I recall with fondness. I was moving to another state, which prompted my sale of books. But if you're fortunate enough to be close to Michael's books, and you love used bookstores, you'll be doing yourself a favor to drop in and browse their stacks. It's such a nice place to find a special book.
