I just found out that the positive reviews on here were from the office staff at Shock's office! believe me - he may be a decent surgeon but they will charge you twice what any other surgeon in Bend charges you and force you to have evaluations and treatm,ents that are not needed just to get the price up

I just found out that the positive reviews on here were from the office staff at Shock's office! believe me - he may be a decent surgeon but they will charge you twice what any other surgeon in Bend charges you and force you to have evaluations and treatm,ents that are not needed just to get the price up

The Billing manager is rude and both times we were referred to Shock was because he was available when the other surgeons were not. Both times we were ripped off by being charged considerably over $600 more than the other surgeons. Dr Higbee is much better and their prices are more in line with what is customary. Shock over charges and gets away with it by telling you he insists on doing cancer screens and other nonsense that was not requested or warranted.
