Stay away!! These guys lie. Stored your boat anywhere else. Buy a boat anywhere else! The people on Craigslist are more honest than these guys!!

Please beware'!!!!!! Our boat has been her for 2 1/2 months for repair.Constant run around .Never will they return a call when promised .Bringing our boat here was the one of the biggest mistakes of our lives.I don't know how a place run like this can stay in business? Must be the only show in town.I'm not familiar with the area ,just brought my boat here because it's supposed to be Honda certified.Honda must be getting desperate!My advise is if you have a Honda product travel another 50/100/200 miles to avert this so called business.

Although they were pleasant enough to deal with in the beginning, and the very expensive rental boat worked fine, beware of the security deposit! We put a 4"x 3/8" scratch in the paint where the boat slid up against the dock -- cost? $1200!!! There were no holes, just paint scrapped. They told us they did the work "in house" and therefore we were getting a "great deal" on the repair. -- They "only" charged us the $500 security deposit. GREAT DEAL FOR WHO? The lady at the desk also told me that about 1 in 5 boats come back with prop damage. That's a LOT of security deposits that don't get returned! (And we weren't even prop damage! - how many others lose thier deposits?) We have contested the charge and gotten outside estimates. To date the highest estimate for the damamge is $250! So far Lake Effect has not responded to our emails. BEWARE -- Take pictures of "damages" - be ready to contest.
