These services include: 1 ) medical evaluation of your hearing loss, to determine if it may be treatable by medication or surgery; 2 ) medical treatment if appropriate ( e.g, removal of excessive ear wax, or placement of tubes in the eardrum to relieve middle ear fluid or pressure ); 3 ) comprehensive audiological evaluations, to determine the degree and nature of your hearing loss; and
