I am not exaggerating when I write this. After eating at kobe for months because their food tastes delicious I would notice that I would feel very sick after eating there. Several times I was violently ill. After months passed and I was not getting any better I went to a specialist and was treated with a parasite killing antibiotic and low and behold my symptoms went away. While most cases of Kobe food poisoning are probably not this severe other people have told me they've been ill after a meal there. Either the ingredients are not quality or the chefs are not trained in cleanliness. I haven't stepped foot in the place since.

The sushi was good but I ordered a hot dish and had metal shavings in it. They replaced the meal and we paid full price for our meal. Should have been free with a new meal.

We have eaten here several times and have had a great experience with each meal. Sushi is really fresh, miso soup delicious, and all of the entrees have been very tasty. We've eaten with others and they have the same comments. Wait staff is hery nice, punctual, and helpful when needed. I read some snobby reviews on Yelp and think they're wrong. We've eaten here 6 times at least so we have a good batting average to talk about. Get the Biddeford Maki, really tasty!
