Normally I don't have enough time for these. But the review up here is so different from our experience that I'd like to share. Our business often needs survey services (Oil & Gas). However, the initial project was personal. Our property had included access to the river. But a neighbor dispute over boundaries, who built a fence across preventing access to the river, also prevented us from selling our property at appraised value. Which would potentially cost us tens of thousands of dollars. Due to the importance, we initially contacted one of the larger engineering firms. However, a colleague had used Joe Kehl & Associates and recommended I call Randy Kehl. Not only did he take the time (30 min's on the initial call) to thoroughly explain the process, while asking us questions to better determine all that we would need (and not need), but he also provided research on laws. And all requirements to file properly. His quote came in lower then his competitor. Long story short, Randy accommodated our urgency by scheduling us right away. Completed the work that proved our boundaries and access to the river. And filed the paperwork with the court house, allowing us to sell the lot in less than a month. My husband was with Randy for part of the day at sub-zero temperatures, and said the only time he saw Randy sit was to document details found within the survey to maintain accuracy. Randy also informed us that our neighbor approached him to inquire and dispute. Randy relayed the conversation so that we were aware. While suggesting that neighbors often try to get involved making it a delicate situation to ensure that the survey gets completed. We were so happy with their professionalism and level of service that we are now using Joe Kehl & Associates for all of our business needs.

Very unprofessional. didn't provide plot map with bill, took 4 hours to do survey, had requested 2 times for plot map. Was caught talking to both of my neighbors( for hour) and sitting down on job. When I finally did talk to him he told me I didn't request plot map (duh why would I not request that its a survey of property) then wants to charge me extra on top of it. .
