Dropped my wife's bike of to get a little work done. He said the basic rate was $35 plus parts. I told him to call me with an estimate after he looked at it. I received a call thinking it would be a price but instead he said the work was done and the price was near $150! I wasn't expecting anything that much and certainly wanted to approve it before labor was done. Horrible way of doing business. I thought i was dealing with a crappy car repair shop in a big city. That being said, the work was well done. I'd definitely recommend going elsewhere for work.
