Founded in 1990, Family Centered Services is a nonprofit organization that offers a range of support services for families and the communities in which they live. It administers various parenting, mentoring and youth programs. The organization provides the Family Preservation Program, which includes family assessment, goal planning, advocacy, supervised visitation, crisis intervention, and resource management and child development counseling services. Family Centered Services conducts the Mentor Mom Program, which features education, friendship, guidance, encouragement and support services for young mothers. It offers the Healthy Families program, which includes developmental screening services and assistance in transportation, budgeting, schooling, discipline and childcare. The organization also participates in a variety of fundraising events. Family Centered Services is headquartered in Bluffton, Ind.
