Columbia River Processing, a subsidiary of the Tillamook County Creamery Association, is a cheese production plant with storage, warehousing and distribution capabilities. Founded in 1909, the Tillamook County Creamery Association is a farmer-owned cooperative that consists of more than 100 dairy producers. The parent company markets bottled milk, ice cream, yogurt, cheddar and smoothies under the Tillamook brand name. It employs over 600 staff members and maintains a bovine population of more than 25,000 cows. Additionally, the Tillamook County Creamery Association operates an online store that sells a selection of apparel, cheeses and gift items.
