I love Alex's! So convenient when I forget something at the grocery store. The owners are great and very friendly. I've gone at all times of the day and evening...weekends as well, and have not had a problem with anyone who worked there. The stock is impressive for a small local store and the prices are reasonable for the most part.

Have been treated extremely rudely and with disrespect in this establishment before, but the jerk who (very reluctantly) waited on me tonite, after I "waited" for him to feel like sashaying over to me to just look at me - never said a word - usually at some point the EMPLOYEE SAYS TO THE CUSTOMER " CAN, OR MAY I HELP YOU?" I asked for the scratch off tickets I wanted to purchase, and he tore them off, flung them on the counter, and walked away. I said "isn't this where you say "thank you", and he turned his back. Sorry Walter, but I will never step foot (muddy or not) in your store again. Gave it a second, and a third try thinking maybe your employees were having a bad day - but this guy (he said his name was Dale - very much doubt if it was) pretty much touched my last nerve. The owner seems a nice enough guy - but really needs to screen a little more carefully who he hires. As many people as there are out there who want to work = I'm sure you could find employees who would like to help you build your business, not ruin it. I won't give any more "chances" and will tell as many people as I can what kind of rude little jerks i've encountered. It was around 830 pm on Friday 8/24 if that helps you narrow it down Walter - the guy should be FIRED!!!!!
