Providence House at Corey Park is a nonsectarian organization that offers residential community options for senior citizens. Its facilities feature a 78-bed rehabilitation and nursing center and more than 100 studio and one-bedroom residential apartments. Each of its accommodations features a kitchenette, private bathroom, wall-to-wall carpeting, emergency call system and window treatments. Providence House provides assistance with daily living activities, such as dressing, bathing and grooming. It offers medication reminder, personal care and nutritional services. The organization provides socialization opportunities for isolated seniors, as well as conducts a range of recreational and educational activities that includes current event discussions, shopping trips, exercise sessions and theme parties. Providence House is located in Brighton, Mass., and is managed by Welch Healthcare and Retirement Group, which is a senior housing and health care services provider.

Terrible experience

Although they were more than helpful and nice when we were looking for an ALF for our mother, they made up for it with their lack of trained employees. Our mother fell during the night and was unattended to resulting in a lengthy hospital course, and eventually her death. They were good at making excuses for their lack of care. Look elsewhere!
