She received her medical degree from Amercian University of Antigua, College of Medicine in St. John's Antigua & Barbuda. She received her MBA in Health Cate Administration from Plymouth State University in New Hampshire. She completed her pediatric residency at The Brooklyn Hospital Center, where she was chief resident.
