My dog busted through the screen. Owner claimed it would cost thousands of dollars to fix and would take multiple days of labor. He was upset that I didn't have homeowners insurance, then threatened me with legal action and photographed my ID. I later called the manufacturer of the yurt and discovered that they sell a screen replacement kit for $65. I told the owners this via email. They made no effort to make things right, apologize, nothing. I was very nearly a victim of fraud. If I had insurance I'm sure they would have filed a ludicrous claim and collected. Because I didn't they thought they could intimidate me and bill me for way more than it cost. After I called them out on it, they lied to me again saying they were waiting to hear about a "new product available for this kind of repair." I called the manufacturer again... They've been selling screen replacement kits for 30+ years. Deplorable, illegal, shameless behavior by the owner of the business. Stay at your own risk!!!!!!!!
