This place is a joke, I've never been so insulted in my life. My husband and I came in for an appraisal and before we went we did some research. We knew the value of our car was between $9000-12000, so we were expecting just a little under $9000 from carmax. We sat with the salesperson after we looked around the lot then came back and waited for them to finish. After 20 or 30 minutes the salesperson goes through it and tells us everything was in good shape for the year and interior and exterior was really good and that overall it was a great car. He then proceeds that they had a "GREAT" offer for us and that the amount they will buy the car from us was $3000! Seriously, my husband and I were offended by that, we looked at each other and laughed! We had our 2004 infiniti qx56 appraised with 129,000mi. If you look anywhere else the car is going for way more than that. Never using Carmax again and won't be referring anyone either.
