Dr. Wright originally obtained a bachelor's degree at the United States Air Force Academy and was Active Duty from 1974-1980. He earned a Master of Science from East Texas State University in Commerce and completed his medical degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. Dr. Wright then completed a family practice residency at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas.
