I went in to get my hair done and they told me I had lice. I immediately panicked went and picked up my daughter and went to a professional lice removal. (I was trying to be proactive before the situation was worse) They started treatment immediately on my hair and began doing a head check on my daughter. Turns out I DID NOT have lice and neither did my daughter. Paid $90 for this service based on Adevia saying I had lice but were WRONG. I called Adevia to explain to them that I did not have lice but instead had dry skin but they were rude over the phone. I called back to a different location who was pleasant over the phone and said they would have a manager call me. A few hours later the owner Shari called me back and told me that she would talk to the stylist but if she said I had lice then I clearly had lice. She told me that the lice must have jumped off in the hour it took me to go from their salon to the lice removal place. I questioned how I didnt have any nits, absolutely nothing, and she said that she has seen it where they didnt lay eggs and were just gone so its "possible". (That's not how lice works!) She also told me she didnt know how it was her problem. Shari told me she would call me back after talking to her stylist but it has now been two days and I have heard nothing. This ended up being a huge waste of my time and money and they clearly need better education but the owner didnt seem to care and couldnt even be bothered to call me back like she said she would.

I recently had a foil and hair cut at Adevia. Two different specialists, one for hair color and the other for hair cutting, worked with me. While I waited for my foils to dry the color specialist gave me an hand/arm message and in between sittings they had a message therapist give me a chair message.I felt very pampered, it was wonderful. However, I had to tip 3 different people for their services, $10 each. Which meant I spent $30 just tipping.

Went there a few times and it seems that they change staff to much...I could never have the same person cut my hair.
