WebsiteDr. Dan Skufca graduated from Emory University with a BS in economics. He then attended University of Kentucky College of Medicine where he graduated with Distinction. He completed an intern year of internal medicine and then went on to complete his ophthalmology residency at the University of South Carolina/Palmetto Health. There he was selected as the chief resident in his final year of training. After residency, he joined Sentinel Health Partners in Camden, SC where he has practiced since 2008. With MUSC’s expansion into the Midlands area, Dr. Skufca’s practice was acquired by MUSC. He focuses on comprehensive adult ophthalmology and enjoys performing cataract surgery.

Provided by YP.comDr Skufca is the MOST KNOWLEDGEABLE ophthalmologist I've ever seen! And I have had extreme progressive myopia since age 6 yrs! I had already been diagnosed with bilateral astigmatism, presbyopia, but no ophthalmologist had ever noticed that I have bilateral cataracts, and most important I have bilateral corneal crevices!! From wearing contact lens for almost 20 + years!! That he said is the reason I have very little sight in my right eye causing blindness and constant tearing of same eye!! Dr Skufca is one of a kind ophthalmologist!! I highly recommend him!! His office staff are also💕 very helpful & accommodating!😊😊
