Ross Engineering Corporation of Campbell, Calif., designs, tests and manufactures high-voltage relays, probes and voltmeters. Typical applications are in high-voltage power supplies, cyclotrons, lasers, radar, TV and high-power communication transmitters -- almost any equipment, industrial plant or utility where high voltage or high current is utilized. The company's main research, development, engineering and manufacturing facility is located in the heart of the Silicon Valley. Its 22,000-square-foot design and manufacturing facility and calibration/test lab are capable of designing and testing high-voltage relays, switches, contactors and calibrating high-voltage measurement devices. Ross products are used for control, measurement and safety applications in almost every industry, where 0.01 millivolts to 1 million volts are used. The company was founded in 1964.
