Canaan Memorial High School provides a variety of educational and vocational programs. It offers membership for various organizations and clubs, such as the National Honor Society, Students Against Destructive Decisions, a student council, and key and outing clubs. The school s staff includes library media specialists, technology coordinators, athletic directors, guidance counselors, nurses, and home-school and special services coordinators. Located in Canaan, Vt., it has social studies, English, art, business and special education departments. Canaan Memorial High School also offers an Asian studies outreach program. The school additionally provides education in sign language, consumer education, French, industrial arts, math, music, physical education and science. It is a part of Canaan Schools, which also operates an elementary school.
