This park could have SO much potential. Trim the dead trees, plant trees along the street side to cut down on noise, water the grass, construct a bath house and small laundry facility, clean the debris and the park would be great. It is close to the river, a small beach, WalMart and local restaurants. We stayed here only to visit the caverns. Will not be back. Maybe ok for you.

Going to the Carlsbad Caverns? Come back to Carlsbad and stay at the Pecos River RV Park. They are right on the river where you can go fishing or the kids can go swim at the beach area, play at the huge playground on the pecos or play at the rec center. You would never think that is this dry area that you would find such a green oasis, they have lots of large shade trees and grass. It was worth the drive back to stay here. You might want to call ahead they are small and tend to stay booked.

The only rv park in the middle of town and right on the river. Lots of shade trees and grassy areas.
