Carrollton High School works for the social, emotional, intellectual and physical development of students in grades 9 through 12. Established in 1959, the school offers instruction in language arts, mathematics, social studies and physical education. The school has a library that maintains a collection of various types of print and electronic resources. It conducts several sports activities, such as volleyball, golf, basketball, tennis, wrestling, football, and track and field. Carrollton High School provides scholarships and other financial assistance. The school maintains a parent-teacher organization that encourages the participation of parents in school activities. It is located in Carrollton, Mo., and is a part of the Carrollton R-VII School District, which also operates middle and high schools.
