Dr Yoon Chi was born in Seoul, South Korea She lived in Seoul until 14, when her family immigrated to Vancouver, Canada She graduated with a BS and PhD from McGill University in Montreal, Canada After graduation she went to the University of Western Ontario in London Canada where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree During dental school, she realized that she loved the literature driven ways that periodontology treats patients It was then that she moved to North Carolina to become a Tar Heel and get her Masters in Periodontology
