Cedar High School is a college preparatory school that provides educational classes to more than 900 students in grades nine through 12. The school has a counseling department that assists students in college and future career planning and provides information about scholarship applications, college entrance requirements and financial aid. It offers classes in English, math, science, business, social studies, computer technology, physical education and language arts. It has a library that offers a wide range of Internet resources, books, magazines and newspapers to stimulate the intellectual development of students and staff. The school offers a wide range of athletic activities, including baseball, basketball, cross country, golf, gymnastics, soccer, swimming, tennis, volleyball, wrestling, and track and field. Cedar High School is operated by the Iron County School District and is located in Cedar City, Utah.
