Dr. Whitten is a certified member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and a Fellow in the American Acadamy of Audiology. Bringing people back into the conversations, and better hearing is what gives meaning to Dr. Whitten's work. Growing up in Northeast Ohio, he watched his father deliver better hearing care for many years. A local advocate for improving the lives of seniors in the area, Dr. Whitten delivers meals on wheels over his lunch hour. He also spends one week a year in Mexico on humanitarian missions bringing health care to people in need.
