Dr. Baird is board certified and is a fellow in the American College of Surgeons. He attended undergraduate school at Clemson University. He received his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). Dr. Baird completed his internship and residency at Georgia Baptist Medical Center where he was among the first surgeons in the United States utilizing the laparoscopic, minimally invasive access for general surgery.
