I had an absolutely professional experience from a gentleman who went above and beyond while working with my bell clock. Cap'n Mike called to keep me informed about the status. He reached out to his colleagues to find a missing piece. He kept me up to date on the progress and charges. He was most reasonable with his prices. When I picked up the clock he spent at least 45 minutes going through the parts, what had been done, and how to keep it in good working order. He called to make sure we got it home ok as we live some distance. We did as he instructed and have been very happy. I had a follow up question about 4 weeks late. Called him and immediately realized what mistake I was making. I followed his instructions and now time is perfect. Strongly recommend! Lisa Marcus

Captian Mike did an excellent job on our German Westmister chime clock we inherited from my father in law. It was a complete restoration. He made sure to keep us informed during the process the entire time. He took pictures of some of the steps and it was amazing the number of little small pieces he was able to put back together. Becasue our job was so extensive he gave us an estimate based on the amount of work and came in right on budget. The clock sounds and looks amazing. It was worth every dime, especially after the estimated value he gave us. I would highly recommend Captian Mike for any work you might be considering.

After recently relocating to SC, I found the movers had removed all of the clock's "innards" on my 18th century grandfather clock. Capt. Mike to the rescue! This man knows his clocks! Captain Mike lovingly restored our 1880s vintage German wall clock. It had several major issues and he carefully addressed each one. We are thrilled that we found him! He is easy to talk to, and will give you his honest opinion. He won't make any promises he can't keep, either. Highly recommended!!!

Capt. Mike fixed my Mother's Grandmother clock, at the house call.

Captain Mike serviced our Howard Miller clock with a new movement and three year warranty. He really knows clocks and was very professional and we would certainly recommend him to anyone who ever needs a clock repaired. Thank you Captain Mike.

We've attempted to have our clock fixed at a clock repair in Mt Pleasant and received it back in condition much worse than what we sent it for. After a year of having the clock on the wall, but still not working, we decided to take another chance. So we called Captain Mike's Clock Shop and talked to about the problems we were having. During the conversation we found out he use to sell Howard Miller clocks and knew all about them and that he was now retired did clock repair out of his home. We decided to take a chance and dropped our clock off for repair. While I was there he looked at the movement and could tell immediately from the stains on the clock movement that the previous repair guy took a number of short cuts. Captain Mike also only charged his cost for the parts and a very reasonable labor cost. Within a couple of weeks he had the parts he needed and completed the repairs. The clock is now sitting on our wall chiming away like old times, included with a thorough outside cleaning.

I would send any of my friends or family members to Captain Mike. He truly bought back to life a dear childhood friend of mine. I grew up listening to my father's clock telling me when to go to school, when to eat, and when to go to bed. The clock just wore down and became silent. Captain Mike got our 100+ year old grandfather clock running like new and we gained a great friend along the way. He worked every detail of the clock and explained the basics so we could care for and maintain it properly in the future. He was totally honest with us throughout the process with the possible exception of some of his fishing stories. A great way to do business if you need any type of clock repair.
