The manager at this store was yelling at employees from across the store, seemed to target one particular employee. Manager was very unprofessional and made the experience very awkward because of her terrible attitude. She was not friendly with the customers either. I will not sell to or recommend Kid to Kid if these are the types of people managing the place. Really disappointing. However, I will say that the young lady who was being publicly reprimanded by the manager was extremely friendly and helpful. That awful manager must not like those types of people at this store. By the way it appeared that the two African-American women working there, one being the manager, seemed to single out this one employee, I couldn't help but wonder if the hostility I witnessed was race related as it certainly appeared that way. Very disturbing.

I would never sell to this location again nor make purchases. Being 6 months pregnant and came in with numerous tubs after calling to see what they were taking I was annoyed with their customer service. No one helped load or unload the items in the rain even though they were not busy. I felt the staff which I believe even included the manager were uppity and that I was wasting their time. No one came across as polite or said thanks for bringing these things in for review after driving almost an hour. They only took a few items out of the numerous tubs that were brought in. I can understand if they were overstocked and did not need things but when a business runs off the reselling of the community's items some manners would have went a long way. I felt the staff were very cold and rude. I will continue to do my business in Richmond.
