While traveling from Michigan to Texas, had the great fortune to stay here for 2 nights. Restrooms and showers were sparkling clean. The laundry had 2 washers and dryers. Our site was a good size pull through with individual full service. The owners, Liz and Larry, were friendly, professional and couldn't have been more accommodating which made the sounds of I-55 just about unnoticeable. Would definitely stay there again. Lincoln's Tomb and the Capital area are a must see.

You should drive out of your way in order to stay at this campground. Not only are the staff exceptionally friendly and go above and beyond to make your stay memorable, but the campground is clean, quiet, level for RVs, and they offer laundry, showers, wi-fi, a top notch RV supply store, a Good Same discount ($3.95) and a very reasonable rate per night. We needed to replace our plumbing pipes and holding tank valves, along with our kitchen faucet in our RV. What parts they didn't have, Double J was able to get a day later for us. They answered repair questions for us too (note: they don't DO repairs at the campground, but the folks who work there are KNOWLEDGEABLE). We even had a couple of campsite neighbors offer use of their tools and plumbing expertise if needed. All in all, we greatly enjoyed our stay here and hope to return sooner rather than later. Thank you so much for showing such kindness to a couple of strangers passing through!
