West side pizza.... More like gross side pizza. After eating this pizza I died. It's that bad. The pizza is worse than bowling alley pizza. The service was slower than a sloth. I now have memory loss. Id

I have been a very loyal customer for quite a while - going at least once a week, sometimes twice. Recently we had a very unpleasant experience. Not as far as the food goes, but the service.



We got 5 lunch specials, and all wanted hawaiian. But there was only enough for 4, so we improvised and decided the last meal could do half, and half of something else. The gentleman helping us was on the last meal/plate - when the lady at the register walked up and asked: "What are they having?" He replied "Pineapple" - she continued to say: "No, give that to the guy behind them, they can wait for another pizza to come out." And that is exactly what he did.



The staff was unapologetic - the poor guy behind us that got served our slices looked over and said "sorry". Why does he have to apologize for their choices? They did not have the decency to say sorry themselves. If he had the common sense to know that that wasn't right - how does someone who encounters people everyday and knows they are in a customer relations industry not know?



We immediately asked to speak to the manager - and a young man came up and spoke to us. Said he apologized, and that he would go talk to her.



He came back with a gift certificate and said that she was in a hurry and didn't realize we hadn't been served, she's pregnant, blah, blah, blah... which is BS. Because she specifically asked the guy serving us what we were having and not to give it to us, but rather give it to the guy behind us. I've been pregnant before and have never been that rude.



Well, today we went back and she was at the register. Fine. Doesn't bother us - people make mistakes... we had moved on from the previous incident. She seemed very nice to the lady in front of us... when it came to our turn on the other hand... She didn't acknowledge us. Didn't say "I will be right with you." Nothing!



She instead walked back to the kitchen - and asked the cook... the cook for goodness sakes! To come up and ring us up. She obviously does not know business is business and that life goes on. She was stuck on the past and did not want to serve us! Come on! We were the ones disrespected, we could have decided never to come back... we were over it!



We asked why he was serving us and not her, and he said she was going to the restroom... BS! She didn't go to the restroom, she kept on working... and not acknowledging us. We told him how dissatisfied we were and that we wanted to speak to the manager... well, guess what? She is the manager...



That was so rude. Talk about feeling unwelcome. Needless to say, we will probably not be going back... at least not while she is on shift. To have to go through that again? Walk up ready to order and for her to walk off and get someone else to serve us?



They really need to get them some customer service training, and an etiquette in politeness.

Really good, simple pizza and cheese sticks.
