My mom had an implant put in by Dr. Manesh and it broke. She was able to get an appointment 2 days later. She was told that it couldn't be fixed that she needed a new crown and an abutment so basically re-doing the implant. We were given an estimate and options to pick from. My mom was told that she should've been coming in to get it checked (she wasn't told this when the work was done) and it wouldn't have broken. They told us we could pay with Care Credit and now they told me the dentist didn't get paid in full. How is this my problem? So they want to collect from me? This office is a fraud. They didn't even care about my mom being without a front tooth. The least he could have done is to temporarily cement it back. Plus we were told he inserted a titanium implant that is now broken. How is that possible? I called to request her implant info and was sent a form to pay for her past & new x-rays. I called back and was informed that her records were paper and in archives. I know that is a lie because we had signed papers when they converted to electronic system.Thursday I took her to another dentist who explained her titanium implant was porcelain and that she could order the abutment only if she had the size and implant info. Her consult and x-ray was done free of charge. My mom gave the new dentist permission to request her dental records. Her crown was put back on temporarily and she was again smiling. How could I forget this: The new dentist office called Dr. Manesh's office after faxing the request and asked for the implant info. They were given part of the info and it wasn't the info needed to order the abutment. Here it is 4 days later and with numerous requests my mom's dental records have not been given to the new dentist. Not only have they lied about her implant, now they want to make money off of us and they are not releasing all her dental records. My next option is reporting their practice.
