I'm experiencing my worst night mare with Lewis and Clark Outdoors llc Chilhowie Va. Purchased a pre 64 Winchester model 88 from these folkes,UPS shipped the rifle and it arrived at my FFL broken in a cardboard box and some news papper for packing, no papper work of any kind to do the transfer work. It's been a month and 19 days haven't heard from these people, they won't take my phone calls, or emails. Whats worse UPS sent me notification they had hand delieverd insurance documents for Lewis & Clark Outdoors to fill out and UPS said they would except the claim for the damage rifle. Lewis & Clark Outdoors just needed to fill out the documents and give them back to UPS. The papper work was in their hands July 18, 2013, IT is now August 19, 2013 and niether UPS or myself have not heard from Lewis & Clark Outdoors LLC Chilhowie, Va.

poor selection of anything from guns to boots if your are going to get something and you go in there he will say we can order it for you and when people are looking to buy thay wont to usually buy it then not wait 3 or 4 days for it to come in at least i know i do and it has caused me to spend my money other places more than once because he didnt have what i was looking for or even have anything close to what i wanted

I love going to Lewis and Clark in Chilhowie, VA. The proprietors (both named Matthew, one M. Lewis and the other M. Clark) generously communicate their enthusiasm, and are happy to share their knowledge. It's a friendly store. The conversations there often include other customers interested in hunting, reloading, and shooting, and would form the basis of an excellent gun club if there were a driving force to develope one in Smyth County. They have an exciting bow-shooting league of their own in the range behind the main showroom that involves men, women, and kids. It's a good place to stop by on a Saturday afternoon, and certainly is a Smyth County business that is worthy of our support. Matthew Lewis is active in supporting the Wild Turkey Federation and the NRA. If we don't hunker down and support our local businesses, those that contribute to the economic and social life of our communityies we will lose them. Once gone, they'll be increasingly unlikely to be replaced. Lewis and C

Best Place to shop for archery needs or any hunting need. They are a good bunch of guys. If they dont have it they will get it for you. Matthew Lewis, Matthew Hill & Gilley are always frendily and LOVE to talk. We travel 30 minutes and pass other stores to shop here because of the service they give. Thanks Guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
