Suspicious Practices.....

The salaries are very low for college graduates(starting at 22,500), that breaks down to only $10.80 an hour (very low amount for a salaried position). Case-workers are overburdened for such little pay often having to double as van drivers and lunch servers making it difficult to finish their work within an 8 hour workday. For $10.80 an hour most do not feel as motivated to put in overtime(since there isn't overtime because this is "salary"). Also the management is not supportive at all to staff. Caseworkers work in very hot offices in the summer and sometimes drive 15 passenger vans w/o working air-conditioning. I'm not even sure if it's legal for a caseworker w/o a class C CDL to drive a 15 passenger-for-hire van....but that's just one of the many murky, perhaps just above the law practices that take place at this for profit, state contracted company. I could go on, but I think this is explains enough.
