Medical oncologist Dr. Geetha J. Kamath has loved every moment of being an oncologist. She considers her patients like her family, with whom she shares a special relationship. The many exciting new advancements in cancer care are increasingly providing hope for patients that was not possible when she began her career. Board-certified in Medical Oncology and Internal Medicine, Dr. Kamath received her medical degree from Kasturba Medical College in Mangalore, India. She completed residency training at Government Wenlock Hospital in Mangalore and at Helen Fuld Medical Center in Trenton, NJ, followed by a fellowship in Oncology/Hematology at the University of Connecticut Medical Center in Farmington, CT. She joined Florida Cancer Specialists in 2013.
