I have been fighting the billing company for weeks now. The central billing is located in Michigan and have NO IDEA what they're doing. The reps sound like incompetent teenagers; good luck getting ahold of a supervisor (you won't). They accept my insurance (United Healthcare) but are trying to charge me for the discount the insurance company took, because they INSIST despite all evidence to the contrary that they are NOT contracted with United Healthcare. I have my insurance reps calling at this point and they are STILL attempting to charge me the full amount. I have to assume at this point that they are simply used to scamming people out of a write-off they are unwilling to honor with the insurance companies.

I have never been as frustrated as I am with this business and Centura Health. I was mistakenly coded as a patient and received additional billing, which I paid not knowing of the error. Once I was correctly coded, through the efforts of my health care provider, it was determined that I was owed a refund, this was in June and it is now mid-December and I have still not been reimbursed! I have spoken with customer service so much that I feel like I know them and probably owe them a Christmas Card! I work for the federal government, so I'm no stranger to inefficiency but they make us look like the most efficient business I know of. I just got off the phone with a rep (new guy so no card) and was told they issued me a refund in November (never got it ) but that he would send in a request for reveiw and I should wait an additional two-weeks before contacting them again! I'm done!!
